Hi Incoming 1st Grade Families!
While I know summer has just begun, I wanted to put a date on your radar so you can plan around it as you solidify your summer plans. Many of you participated in our incoming TK/Kinder summer playdates last year, which gives the kids and families a chance to meet each other and have a soft transition into the school year. For 1st grade, we like to continue this tradition with a summer playdate just before the school year begins. We will have new families join the grade who are eager to meet people, and it gives our kids a chance to reconnect before the first day of school.
We hope your families can join us for a park playdate on Saturday, August 12th starting at 10:00am at Grape Arbor Park in Calabasas. Wear your Calabash shirts (or other red shirts) if you have them so we can all recognize each other!

Time: 10AM - 12PM
Where: Grape Arbor Park (5100 Parkville Rd. Calabasas)
Be sure to pack drinks and snacks for your family so you can stay and play as long as you want. If you have any questions, please let me know. I will send out a reminder for this playdate as we get into August!
